Van Wersch Wins Big Without a Showdown

Oleg Vasylchenko and Raoul van Wersch had already built up a pot of around 50,000 as they saw the turn on a board of 9♥5♣J♥2♦.

Vasylchenko then bet 25,000 from early position before Van Wersch moved all in for around 37,000 in the small blind. Vasylchenko tanked for a minute but ultimately gave up the pot as Van Wersch dragged in the massive pile of chips.

Van Wersch and Vladimir Shabalin are the two big stacks at this table.

A few hands later, Glaser was in the big blind and called a bet of 1,500 from Adel Ben Messaoud on a flop of 9♦K♠4♣.

The turn was the 3♦ and Ben Messaoud continued for 5,000. Glaser again called and both players checked the 6♠ river.

Glaser showed 9♣7♠ for a pair of nines and Ben Messaoud mucked as Glaser added even more to his stack.
