Adams Done for the Day

Level 9 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Yulian Bogdanov raised from the cutoff and Timothy Adams got his final seven or so blinds in from the small blind. Bogdanov complied with the extra chips and the cards were turned face-up.

Timothy Adams: A2
Yulian Bogdanov: Q10

Bogdanov flopped a flush draw on J76 for some extra outs, but the 3 turn remained safe for Adams. However, Bogdanov rivered a pair on Q and Adams swiftly sought the exit as his only allowed reentry was a shortlived affair.

Hissou Departs Again

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Sirzat Hissou
Sirzat Hissou

Sirzat Hissou raised to 6,000 from the hijack and Santhosh Suvarna three-bet to 16,000 on the button. The action folded back to Hissou, who put in another raise to 35,000.

Suvarna confirmed the amount and made the call before he called the 45,000 continuation-bet of his opponent as well, on a flop of J810.

Hissou then slowed down and checked the K turn, after which he called Suvarna's 55,000 bet.

On the 3 river, Hissou checked once more and Suvarna pushed all in, covering Hissou's stack of 40,000 chips. Hissou tanked for a bit but eventually made the call, being shown AA by his opponent.

Hissou could not beat that and his QQ disappeared into the muck. He busted his second and final bullet and swiftly left the tournament area.

The Q turn was checked through to the J river, where Mateos bet another 23,000. Chidwick then slid his entire stack forward, a bet of around 175,000 that was nearly the same amount that Mateos had behind.

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 6,000 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 18,000 from Kayhan Mokri on the button, which he called.

Mokri fired 21,000 chips more on the 467 flop, and a quick fold followed from O'Dwyer.

On an adjacent table, Atanas Malinov raised to 5,000 from the hijack and called the subsequent three-bet to 15,000 from Alex Kulev in the cutoff.

Malinov check-raised Kulev's 9,000-chip continuation-bet on the 935 flop to 26,000 and Kulev called. The A turn was then checked by both players before Kulev won the pot by making a bet of 75,000 on the J river, resulting in a quick check-fold from his opponent.
