Kayhan Mokri raised to 4,500 under the gun before Thomas Santerne three-bet to 14,000 in the cutoff. Steve O'Dwyer four-bet to 31,000 and Mokri folded, but Santerne called.
The flop came 8♣5♦5♥ and O'Dwyer continued for 16,000. Santerne called and the 7♠ turn was checked through.
The river was the 3♠ and Santerne bet 65,000, leaving himself around 15,000 back. O'Dwyer instantly moved all in and Santerne snap-folded.
Heads-up on a board of 8♠10♦3♠10♥, Juan Pardo bet 6,000 from the small blind before Quan Zhou raised to 24,000 in the hijack.
Pardo called and they saw the 6♦ fall on the river. Pardo then bet 7,000 and Zhou just called this time.
Pardo turned over A♥8♥ for two pair and Zhou mucked.
Three-handed on a board of 5♣9♣8♦8♥, Sirzat Hissou bet 7,500 from the small blind and only Sam Grafton called in the big blind.
The river was the 7♥ and Hissou bet 10,500. Grafton tanked for a moment before calling as Hissou showed A♣10♣ for ace-high.
Grafton turned over 5♠3♠ for two pair as he took the pot.

Aleksejs Ponakovs bet 3,500 from the big blind on a flop of 4♠8♦7♠ and Joao Vieira called on the button.
The turn was the 10♦ and Ponakovs bet 4,000. Vieira again called and the 10♥ fell on the river, where Ponakovs moved all in for 11,500.
Vieira used four time banks before ultimately deciding to call with A♣J♦ for ace-high. Ponakovs, though, had 9♠8♥ for two pair as he doubled up.
Ben Heath was recently eliminated on another table.
Daniel Dvoress raised to 4,000 in early position and received calls from Timothy Adams and Quan Zhou before Santhosh Suvarna moved all in for 31,000 in the small blind. Dvoress and Adams folded, but Zhou called to put Suvarna at risk.

Suvarna made top pair on the A♦3♣Q♣ flop and Zhou couldn't catch up on the 5♥ turn or 7♠ river as Suvarna doubled up.
Kayhan Mokri and Byron Kaverman both fired their second bullets into the tournament.
Kayhan Mokri was down to just 7,500 and moved all in from the small blind as Joakim Andersson called under the gun.

"You raised under the gun? Very loose," Mokri joked with Andersson as they saw a flop of 10♣9♣7♠, giving Andersson top pair. The 8♠ turn improved Andersson to a straight and left Mokri drawing dead heading to the A♣ river and heading off to the exit.
Niklas Astedt and Juan Pardo joined the field on the break.
Chris Brewer raised to 4,000 in the hijack and picked up calls from Joao Vieira on the button and big blind Aleksejs Ponakovs.
The flop came 7♦A♣2♦ and action checked to Vieira who bet 4,000. Ponakovs called, but Brewer raised to 8,500. Only Vieira called.
Both players checked the 10♠ turn and Brewer also checked the 8♦ river. Vieira then bet 8,500 and Brewer quickly folded.

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, leading to a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
