Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Andre Marques
Andre Marques

Sergei Petrushevskii raised to 6,000 in the hijack before Andre Marques three-bet to 17,500 in the cutoff. Stefan Olofsson called in the big blind, as did Petrushevskii.

The flop came 3J5 and Marques continued for 14,000. Only Petrushevskii called to see the J turn.

Marques bet another 30,000 and Petrushevskii again called. The river was the 10 and Marques moved all in, having Petrushevskii's last 90,000 covered.

Petrushevskii tanked for more than five minutes until the clock was eventually called. The countdown nearly reached zero before he tossed KJ into the muck. Marques showed him K9 as he took the pot.

"Good hand. Good play," Petrushevskii told him.

Daniel Custodio
Daniel Custodio

Daniel Custodio and Thomas Saminadin were on a completed board of 54762, with 100,000 chips already gathered in the middle.

Custodio checked from the big blind before Saminadin fired 43,000 from the hijack. Custodio took a few moments to think things through but ultimately tossed in a call.

Saminadin could only show QJ for queen-high, while Custodio had called with A5 for third pair. The chips were shipped to Custodio, who obtained a stack of nearly three times the average.

Duce Puts Espina in Blender

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Around 108,000 was in the middle and the board read 7343 in a hand between Joshua Duce on the button and Jose Espina in the small blind.

Espina had checked to Duce, who moved all in for 115,000.

Espina went deep into the tank, taking at least five minutes and at a couple of points blowing out his cheeks and giving the table a quiet tap in frustation.

He just couldn't make a decision, and eventually the clock was called. As time began to run out, Espina disposed of his hand sending a nice pot to Duce.

Mulder Has the Superior Straight

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

There was only a small main pot with a completed board and cards revealed over on table 20. The stacks of Teun Mulder and Alexander Wurz were counted as it was a close affair on the 982410 runout.

Wurz's 76 for the bottom end of the straight ended up being no good as Mulder had QJ for the nut straight. He also covered the 54,000 of Wurz to reduce the field by one.

Lewis Spencer
Lewis Spencer

The action started with a raise to 5,000 by Gonzalo Almeida and Kevin Fernandez Ferrer then pushed all-in from one seat over in the hijack. Pierre Merlin called all-in out of the cutoff for around four blinds and the action then reached Lewis Spencer in the small blind.

"How much is the bigger one?" Spencer inquired and the shove by Fernandez Ferrer was for 37,000 total, which the Brit just called. Almeida got out of the way and the cards were revealed.

Pierre Merlin: 44
Kevin Fernandez Ferrer: AK
Lewis Spencer: QQ

Merlin took the lead with the 743 flop for a potential quadruple up and retained it on the 8 turn. He only needed to dodge a queen but the Q fell on the river to give Spencer the superior set for a double knockout.

On the QJ5 flop Boianovsky continued with a bet of 17,500, which Wakil called.

On the J turn Boianovsky checked to Wakil, who slid out a bet of 16,000. Boianovsky then reached for chips and produced a raise to 79,000. After a long period of thought Wakil called.
