According to his former tablemates, Parker Talbot opened and then three-bet all in against Arthur Thiriart. The Belgian called with AxQx and was racing against the 10x10x of Talbot.

However, there was an Ax on the river which sent Talbot to the rail. A few minutes later, another PokerStars Ambassador joined the table in the shape of Kenny Hallaert, with Adam McKola also seated at the same table.

Philipp Engel raised to 4,000 from under the gun. Stephane Knafo called from the hijack, Adrian State called from the button, but Ryan Plant squeezed to 20,000 from the small blind. Engel folded, but Knafo and State called.

Plant put out a continuation-bet of 12,000 on the 2A6 flop and was met by an immediate shove by Knafo for roughly 50,000. State and Plant both quickly folded and Knafo slammed down 87 for just an eight-high flush draw.

Jeremie Zouari was already all-in and at risk for his approximately 90,000 against Ken Oberlieben, who had Zouari covered.

The 834 flop looked bleak for Zouari, but the A turn vaulted him into the lead after pairing his ace.

The A river needlessly improved Zouari to trips and he was awarded the double up.

Pichierri Puts Pihela to the Test with River Pressure

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alessandro Pichierri
Alessandro Pichierri

According to a player at the table, the hand began with Alessandro Pichierri limping from the small blind, and Igor Pihela checking his option in the big blind.

Both players took a cautious approach, checking the 574 flop.

The turn brought the A turn and Pichierri checked, prompting Pihela to bet 10,000. Pichierri responded with a raise to 30,000, and after some consideration, Pihela made the call.

By the time PokerNews joined the action, the board read J on the river, and Pichierri had moved all in for 78,000, putting Pihela to a difficult decision for his tournament life. Pihela, holding a shorter stack, went deep into the tank, weighing his options for an extended period before ultimately folding his hand.

Pichierri scooped the pot, boosting his stack significantly as Pihela was left to regroup.

Luka Bojovic
Luka Bojovic

Luka Bojovic raised to 5,000 from under the gun with only Clement Gouges calling from the cutoff.

Bojovic check-called a bet of 8,000 from Gouges on the J69 flop.

The A turn checked through for the 7 to fall on the river. Bojovic led out for 45,000 and Gouges made the call.

Bojovic flipped up a flopped set of jacks holding JJ, which was good as Gouges mucked his hand.
