More than 200,000 was in the middle as Stephen Song and Gergely Rona went to the turn on a board of 7♠2♦3♠9♣. Song then bet 160,000 from the big blind and Rona called on the button.
The river was the 4♠ and Song moved all in. Rona leaned back in his seat, let out a sigh, and eventually flicked in a chip to signify a call for his last 219,000.
Song showed 10♠10♥, but Rona had 7♥7♦ for a set to win the pot and earn the massive double up off the reigning EPT Barcelona champion.
Ali Abdulzahra and Yannik Seabrook went to the turn on a board of 5♣Q♥2♠6♥ and around 150,000 in the pot. Abdulzahra then bet 80,000 under the gun, Seabrook moved all in for 220,000 from the big blind, and Abdulzahra called.
Seabrook showed K♥Q♠ for top pair, but Abdulzahra was ahead with A♣Q♣. The A♦ river improved Abdulzahra to two pair, and Seabrook was sent to the rail.
Razvan Gherghe open-jammed a stack of 32,000 from under the gun and Adam Martinsson called in the big blind to put him at risk.
Razvan Gherghe: A♦10♦
Adam Martinsson: A♥Q♣
Gherghe was dominated, but that mattered little as the dealer fanned the 8♦5♦J♦ flop to give him the nut flush. The 5♠ turn and 5♥ rivers were formalities as Gherghe received the small double.
The rest of Wouter Beltz's chips were being pushed over to Terrance Reid, who filled in the details after the hand.
Reid had opened to 24,000 under the gun and Beltz called in middle position. The flop came 2♠J♥10♣ and Reid continued for 23,000.
Beltz called to the 7♣ turn, where Reid bet another 57,000. Beltz again called, and the 5♠ fell on the river. Reid then moved all in, and Beltz called for 249,000.
Beltz turned over 8♦8♥, but Reid had A♦A♣ to win the pot and send Beltz to the rail while boosting his stack up to nearly 2,000,000.
Oleh Okhotskyi open-jammed a stack of around 150,000 from middle position, and Martin Alcaide called from the next seat with a bigger stack.
Oleh Okhotskyi: 9♦9♠
Martin Alcaide: A♥K♠
Okhotskyi couldn't stay ahead in the flip as the board ran out Q♥8♥A♣3♣Q♠ to mark his elimination.
Kevin Houghton moved all in for 135,000 in early position, and Martin Zamani called in the hijack. Alejandro Romero announced a reshove from the big blind, and Zamani didn't even wait for Romero to put in the chips before snap-calling for 255,000.
Kevin Houghton: 10♦9♦
Martin Zamani: A♦A♣
Alejandro Romero: Q♠Q♦
Zamani had picked up two aces, and his opponents failed to improve on the 7♦2♠4♣K♠A♠ board as Zamani finished with top set to secure the pot. Houghton was eliminated, while Zamani doubled up off Romero.
Lucia Navarro put in her last 120,000 from middle position, Hendrik Sanhen reshoved for 190,000 in the big blind, while Lanir Itzchaki called to put both opponents at risk in the hijack.
Lucia Navarro: J♣10♣
Hendrik Sanhen: A♠A♥
Lanir Itzchaki: 10♥10♦
Sanhen had woken up with aces and was a favorite to scoop the entire pot as the flop came 2♣Q♠Q♣, giving Navarro some hope with a flush draw. The 8♣ turn gave her a flush, while the river was the 6♠. Navarro tripled up, while Sanhen took 70,000 off Itzchaki in the side pot.
Brock Wilson may have busted earlier, but his better half, Cherish Andrews, is still alive and well with a stack of 640,000 at this table.
Justin Saliba raised to 25,000 in the hijack, Julien Sitbon moved all in for his last 70,000 in the cutoff, and Saliba called.
Julien Sitbon: A♣6♦
Justin Saliba: K♣10♥
Sitbon remained ahead with his ace on the Q♠3♠2♣ flop, while the rest of the board ran out 6♥2♦ to earn him the double up. Despite dropping that pot, Saliba is still sitting on a stack of around 700,000.
