Mansouri Has Kyte Shaking His Head With Big River Raise

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Five players went a flop of AK10 where Ouassini Mansouri bet 3,500 from the cutoff. Only Mohamed Zazri in the small blind and Jon Kyte in the hijack called.

All three players checked the 4 turn and the K fell on the river. Kyte then bet 11,000, but Mansouri splashed in a raise to 26,000.

Zazri quickly folded as action went back on Kyte. He spent a few moments shaking his head before tossing his cards into the muck. "One card," Mansouri said, flashing the 10 while taking in the pot.

Israeli businessman and poker aficionado Tom Orpaz has recently taken his seat at this table.

Banned WSOP Milly Maker Winners Seated Together it EPT Main Event

Two poker players who were banned from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for collusion during the Millionaire Maker event sat side-by-side on Monday in the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Main Event.

Jesse Yaginuma and James Carroll made national headlines in June for chip dumping during heads-up play in Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker, as the former stood to receive a $1 million bonus from ClubWPT Gold if he were to win the bracelet.

Yaginuma would go on to win the tournament, but the WSOP determined that chip dumping occurred and refused to award the gold bracelet. Both players were subsequently banned from the series. They are back in action, this time in Spain.

Erbil Flops the Nuts Against Calderone's Cowboys

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Eros Calderone
Eros Calderone

On a board of 468Q with around 9,000 in the pot, Eros Calderone bet 7,000 from under the gun and Mickael Erbil raised to 16,000. Calderone then shoved for around 25,000, and Erbil snap-called.

Eros Calderone: KK All in
Mickael Erbil: 75

Erbil had flopped the nuts and had nothing to fear as no card on the river could save Calderone. However, the poker gods wanted to rub some salt into the wound and slapped a K on the river, which gave Calderone a useless set and confirmed his elimination.

Tsvetanov's Nines are Good

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A pot of around 30,000 had been brewed on a board of 24810 between Martin Tsvetanov in the small blind and Fahredin Mustafov in the cutoff.

Both decided to check to see the Q drop on the river, where again the action checked around. Tsvetanov then revealed a pair of nines with 99, and Mustafov mucked.

Kenny Hallaert is on the same table and has built a stack of around 50,000 with around 35 minutes to go until the dinner break.

Marle Spragg moved all in for her last 9,000 from the cutoff as Gary Hasson put her at risk in the small blind.

Marle Spragg: 33 All in

Spragg found herself dominated against Hasson's bigger pair, and the 107Q9K board provided no reprieve as she hit the rail.

Joris Ruijs is also at this table with a big stack, while Max Deveson, who doubled up off Spragg earlier, has built his stack up to around 70,000.

Savenkov Fires Every Street Against Spragg

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Benjamin Spragg raised to 1,300 from under the gun and Aleksey Savenkov three-bet to 3,400 from middle position. When it got back to Spragg, he dropped in the call.

They both watched the 258 flop land on the felt and Spragg check-called a bet of 2,700 from Savenkov to see the 2 pair the board on the turn. Again Spragg checked, and again he called after Savenkov bet 8,200.

A Q completed the board and Spragg checked for a third time, then was faced with his biggest bet yet as Savenkov threw in 25,000. Spragg didn't think for too long before he folded, and Savenkov got a little richer.
