Day 3 of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona kicks off at noon local time inside Casino Barcelona and will see 303 lucky players locking up a payday of at least €8,550. But that means ten players will be going home empty-handed as 313 players remain with the money bubble looming.
It shouldn't take long for the money bubble to burst on Day 3 as big stacks like Finland's Lauri Saaskilahti, Poland's Michal Kil and chip leader Jacob Amsellem of France apply the pressure on short stacks including Marco Bich, Andres Korn, Conor Beresford and PokerStars ambassador Kenny Hallaert.

Also flying the PokerStars flag are Marle Spragg and Benjamin Spragg, while former EPT champions Steve O'Dwyer, Sebastian Malec, Simon Brandstrom, Dimitar Danchev and Dominik Panka are also alive. The most recent EPT Barcelona champions, Stephen Song and Simon Wiciak, both fell on Day 2.
Other players still alive and looking to make the money include Brock Wilson, Adam Hendrix, Myles Mullaly, Aram Zobian, Jason Wheeler and Peter Jorgne.
The payouts will increase gradually once the money bursts with the eventual winner earning €1,436,000, the biggest portion of the €9,918,250 prize pool.

Day 3 action will kick off on Level 15 with blinds of 2,000/4,000/4,000 and levels again lasting 90 minutes. In addition to PokerNews live updates, Day 3 onward will feature coverage through the PokerStars stream.
There will be 20-minute breaks after every level and a 90-minute dinner break is scheduled to take place after Level 17.
