Matthew Micallef opened to 20,000 from the cutoff before Matas Cimbolas three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind. Micallef jammed as the bigger stack and Cimbolas snap-called for his stack of 299,000.

Matthew Micallef: A♠Q♣

Cimbolas spiked a set on the 10♠9♠2♣ flop, and sealed the checkmark on the 7♣ turn, ahead of the 3♠ river.

On the next deal, Ben Zech raised to 20,000 from early position. Tudor Zapsa reraised to 50,000 from the next seat over and then Micalleff put in his last 88,000 from the hijack. Zech folded and then Zapsa put in the calling chips.

Tudor Zapsa: A♠10♥

Things went from bad to worse for Micallef as the 10♦ was in the window, followed by the 8♥5♥. HIs three-outer failed to come in and he was eliminated after the board completed with the 9♣2♦.

Catching the tail end of a pot of 310,000 between Fabian Bernhauser in the small blind and Candido Cappiello under the gun, Bernhauser moved all in on the 5♦J♣8♦4♦J♥ river, covering the 200,000 of Cappiello.

Cappiello weighed his options for a bit before he committed a call. Bernhauser opened 4♠4♥ for a full house, leaving the J♦10♦ of Cappiello in the dust.

Bernhauser shipped the big pot and ended with more than a million in chips, while Cappiello had no choice but to head to the exit.

In a single-raised pot, Tom Fuchs and Modar Alsoud were heads-up on the 10♣3♣Q♥ flop. Fuchs checked to Alsoud, who bet 20,000. Fuchs then raised to 70,000, and Alsoud called after some deliberation.

Fuchs continued for 125,000 on the 7♦ turn. Alsoud went into the tank again, this time coming out with an all-in raise to 282,000. Fuchs snap-called, revealing the cards.

Only a jack could save Alsoud, and he cheered as he received one on the J♣ river. Fuchs silently paid his neighbor, still having a seven-figure stack to play with.

In the first, Daniele Degennaro opened to 20,000 from under the gun. Hand three-bet to 55,000 from the next seat, and Degennaro called. The latter then check-folded to a continuation bet of 30,000 on the 9♥7♣3♠ flop.

Hand, sporting a throwback Mark Bosnich Aston Villa jersey, entered the next pot with a raise to 20,000. This time, he was forced to fold when Nariman Yaghmai three-bet to 55,000.

On the very next deal, Alberto Cigliano opened to 20,000 from middle position. Hand defended his big blind, only to fold again after facing a 35,000 bet on the 9♦7♣3♣ flop.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a four-way limped pot to the J♥7♣8♥ flop, Arie Yaaran checked from the big blind to Manfred Sierke in early position. Sierke then promptly jammed in his stack of 108,000, quickly being called by Manfred Sierke in the cutoff.

Georgios Vrakas gave it some thought on the button but ultimately folded, and Yaaran quickly followed suit to force a showdown.

Manfred Sierke: A♥A♦ All in

Di Profio's flush draw came in on the 4♥ turn, and the Q♣ river failed to bring another heart, securing Sierke's exit.
