Stone Wise to Janssen's Tricks

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ferdinand Janssen raised from early position to 6,000 before seeing Jacob Stone three-bet from the cutoff to 14,000. When the action returned to Janssen, he made the call.

Action checked through on the 1096 flop, prompting Janssen to take over the betting lead on the 4 turn. He put out a bet of 10,000, which Stone called.

The river 10 saw Janssen hit the brakes, checking over to his opponent. Stone, after some consideration, wisely opted to check back. Janssen turned over 87 for a flopped straight, and Stone returned his cards face down to the dealer.

After seeing a raise ahead of him to 6,000, Ilija Savevski called in the cutoff. Sergey Lebedev then three-bet to 30,000 from the small blind. The original raiser folded, but Savevski called again to see a flop.

The dealer spread a monotone J56 flop, which saw Lebedev continue for 15,000. Again, Savevski called.

The turn 6 saw Lebedev place another bet, this time of 40,000. Undeterred, Savevski called again.

The 9 completed the board, and Lebedev wasted little time in moving all in for 82,000. Savevski called immediately, tabling 55, for a full house. Lebedev revealed he had KK before vacating his seat and heading to the exit.
