With the pot counting 15,000 chips, Tjenno Eskes pushed all his 19,700 chips in from the big blind on a completed board of 8♠5♥Q♦6♣10♥. His opponent was Rudolf Kosa on the button, who took some time before calling off.
Eskes tabled Q♣J♥ for top pair, doubling up when Kosa was forced to show Q♥9♠ for the same pair with a lower kicker.
"I didn't expect a queen," Eskes admitted as he raked in the pot.
"I know, that's why I have to call," Kosa replied.
Ermanno Di Nicola opened to 2,500 from the button, and Ferdinand Janssen defended from the big blind.
The two players checked the 5♦3♥Q♣ flop, leading to the 5♣ turn. Janssen check-called a 2,700 bet from Di Nicola before both players checked the 8♦ river.
Janssen showed K♠3♦ which was enough to take the pot.
A pot between Amir Padan in the big blind and Felix Schneiders under the gun had grown to a size of 26,000 when the 6♥J♦2♣2♥8♣ river was dealt. Padan checked to Schneiders, who moved all in for 17,700.
Padan did not take long before finding a call. Schneiders opened A♦A♣ for the preflop nuts, leaving Padan's Q♠6♦ in the dust and doubling up.
Joshua Gebissa and Ciprian Paunescu had reached the Q♠8♥10♠A♥2♠ river in their blind-on-blind battle. With 20,500 in the pot, Gebissa checked to Paunescu. Paunescu then moved all in, putting Gebissa at risk for 19,100.
Gebissa debated for a while before he flicked in a single chip for a call. Paunescu tabled K♦J♠ for a straight, while Gebissa had hero-called with K♣10♥ for a pair of tens and was sent to the exit.
Jonas Klausen opened to 2,500 from middle position, Nikita Kuznetsov three-bet to 8,500 from the button, and Klausen called.
The flop came Q♥10♦5♠. Klausen led for 7,000 and Kuznetsov called before the two players checked down the 9♦ turn and 7♠ river. Klausen tabled top pair with K♣Q♠ and Kuznetsov mucked.
