Paawan Bansal raised to 55,000 in early position. Roman Stoica came along from the small blind, and Terry Jordon tossed in a call in the big blind.

The trio checked the 9J7 flop, and Stoica checked the Q turn as well. Jordon fired a bet of 35,000, Bansal called, and Stoica mucked A6.

The remaining duo then checked the 8 river to showdown, where Jordon tabled a flush with 82. Bansal's QJ disappeared into the muck as Jordon was awarded the pot.

Sarwer Gets Away From Looming Disaster

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jeffrey Sarwer raised to 40,000 in middle position and was called by Terry Jordon in the cutoff and Paawan Bansal in the big blind.

Sarwer continued for 60,000 on the K510 flop and both opponents called. Sarwer then bet 110,000 on the 2 turn, and only Bansal called this time.

Bansal checked to Sarwer on the 8 river, and this time Sarwer checked back. Bansal then showed J9 for a flush.

"I only have ace-king with the ace of clubs," Sarwer said as he mucked AK.

"I should've check-raised the turn," Bansal said.

"You should've. I got away cheap. Good check back on the turn," Sarwer muttered to himself as he and Bansal joined the rest of the field on break.

Bansal Claims the Pot with Two Pair

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Paawan Bansal opened to 45,000 in early position and picked up both blinds as callers.

On the A53 flop, the blinds checked to Bansal, who continued for 45,000, and both opponents called.

All three players checked through the 2 turn.

Roman Stoica checked the 8 river, and Terry Jordon fired a bet of 180,000. Bansal called, but Stoica mucked his hand.

At showdown, Jordon hesitated to show his cards even though he needed to act first, but Bansal waited patiently. Jordon tabled 62 for a pair of twos and a missed gutshot, while Bansal held A5 for two pair, enough to claim the pot.
