December 11 was another action-packed day at the 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival. A handful more players became champions of side events, and the €5,300 Main Event progressed to Day 4 with only 45 players. Two of those players were involved in a crazy hand on Day 3 that nobody watching the PokerStars stream or reading PokerNews' updates could believe.

Sciacca Gives Up After Check-Raise

Maria Lampropulos opened her AJ to 30,000 in the cutoff. Antonio Sciacca defended KJ in the big blind and checked the 2102 flop over to Lampropulos.

Lampropulos placed the minimum bet of 15,000 on the table, which Sciacca raised to 40,000. Lampropulos quickly called, after which the players checked through the subsequent A turn.

Sciacca also checked the 8 river. Lampropulos went for value with a bet of 100,000, but Sciacca quickly folded his king-high to forfeit the pot.

Senhaji Finds a Miracle to Decimate Worthington-Leese

Heads-up on a flop of QK9, Mehdi Senhaji bet 40,000 from the button and Leo Worthington-Leese called in the big blind.

The turn was the 5 and Senhaji bet another 100,000. Worthington-Leese then raised to 275,000, and Senhaji moved all in for 655,000. Worthington-Leese snap-called.

Senhaji showed K9 for two pair, but Worthington-Leese had flopped the nuts with J10. Senhaji was left needing to fill up on the river to survive, and he spiked the 9 as he walked away from the table with his hands on his head in disbelief while Worthington-Leese calmly handed over most of his stack.

Paawan Bansal kicked things off with a raise in the cutoff to 30,000 and picked up two callers.

On the 2A2 flop, the big blind checked, Bansal continued for 35,000, and Ding Fan stuck around while Gkatzas let his hand go.

With the A on the turn, Bansal slowed down and checked, but Fan bet 75,000 and Bansal folded. Fan tabled 22 to reveal that he had flopped quads.

Turchi and Cech had seen enough and folded in quick succession, leaving the other players to show down.
