Leo Worthington-Leese opened to 30,000 from the cutoff, Terry Jordon called from the button, and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet shoved for 445,000 from the small blind. Worthington-Leese called, having started the hand with 330,000, and Jordon folded.
Leo Worthington-Leese: A♣10♠
Fahredin Mustafov: 9♦8♦
The board ran out 10♦J♣3♥A♥2♦, giving Worthington-Leese two pair to get another double up, leaving Mustafov with just under eight big blinds.
Vasyl Pidhrusnyi moved in 30,000 chips for a raise in early position. Diogo Vieira moved all in for 275,000 in the hijack, and Pidhrusnyi instantly called when the action got back around to him.
Diogo Vieira: A♠Q♦
Vasyl Pidhrusnyi: A♣K♠
The 2♥2♣2♦7♦4♣ runout was of no use to Moreira, who quickly exited the feature table.
Ivan Poroliev moved all in for 185,000 under the gun, Fahredin Mustafov reshoved for 290,000 in the hijack, and the rest of the table got out of the way.
Ivan Poroliev: A♠Q♠
Fahredin Mustafov: A♣A♥
Poroliev picked up a straight draw on the K♠2♦J♥ flop, then got a flush draw on the 6♠ turn, but he missed the Q♣ river and Mustafov scored the knockout.
The next hand at this table, Terry Jordon and Anton Iakuba saw a flop of 6♠J♦3♦ where Iakuba got in his last 400,000 from the big blind. Jordon put him at risk under the gun.
Anton Iakuba: J♥3♥
Terry Jordon: A♦K♦
Iakuba had flopped two pair, while Jordon had the nut flush draw. The 10♣ turn kept Iakuba in the lead, but Jordon hit the 6♦ on the river to make his flush and send Iakuba to the rail.
It folded to Antonio Sciacca in the small blind, who raised to 55,000. Filippo Ragone called in the big blind and called Sciacca's bet of 50,000 on the K♠9♣A♦ flop as well.
The 10♣ turn slowed Sciacca down, as he checked it over to Ragone. Ragone took up the initiative with a bet of 65,000, which Sciacca quickly called.
Sciacca checked again when the 7♣ river completed the board. Ragone neared the end of his shot clock when he checked back, seeing Sciacca open A♠6♥ for top pair.
Ragone had the better kicker with his A♥J♣, however, and was thus awarded the pot.
Action folded to Leo Worthington-Leese in the hijack, and he pushed his last 135,000 into the middle. Farbod Nazari called him up from the small blind, and no one else joined the pot.
Leo Worthington-Leese: Q♣9♣
Farbod Nazari: K♣K♠
Worthington-Leese needed help from the board to stay alive and he found exactly that as the cards ran out Q♥4♥A♥8♦9♥. Two pair was enough to keep him in the tournament for at least one more orbit.
Terry Jordon bet 50,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 10♥7♣2♠ and Paawan Bansal raised to 115,000 in the small blind. Jordon instantly slammed in his last 300,000, and Bansal quickly called.
Terry Jordon: A♠10♦
Paawan Bansal: 9♥7♥
Jordon was ahead with top pair, and the Q♠ turn and J♥ river kept him in the lead to earn him a double up.
Ivan Poroliev opened to 35,000 from the hijack, and Terry Jordon shoved for 145,000 from the button. Poroliev called with a covering stack.
Terry Jordon: K♥9♣
Ivan Poroliev: A♠9♦
Jordon got up from his seat and put on his coat after seeing he was dominated preflop. The K♦4♦2♠ flop gave Jordon one of the three outs he needed, and he remained ahead as the rest of the board ran out 2♣Q♣.
"Coat trick always works" Jordon commented as he dragged in the pot.
Xiaowen Zhao and David Hu went heads-up to a flop of 5♠2♠10♣ when Zhao bet 35,000 from the button. Hu called in the hijack.
Zhao bet another 55,000 on the 3♠ turn, and Hu again called. The river was the 3♦ and Zhao bet 150,000. Hu ended up using two time banks, but this time he slid his cards into the muck and surrendered the pot to Zhao.
