Machado had an uphill battle ahead of him against Di Giacomo's bigger pair, and that climb got even steeper when the Q♣6♠J♦ flop gave Di Giacomo a set.
Machado picked up an out when the 8♠ landed on the turn, but the miracle of backdoor quads didn't arrive on the K♥ river, sending him to the rail.

Karim check-called a second bet from Van den Berg after the 5♦ landed on the turn, this time for 9,800.
Both players checked the 2♥ river, and Van den Berg took down the pot with A♣K♦, having rivered a wheel.

Luis Sequiera raised to 2,000 from under the gun, and Andrew Hulme called in the hijack. Henrique Coutinho then moved all-in for 40,700 on the button. Sequiera put his own 23,800 at risk, but Hulme folded.

With about 8,000 in the pot on the 3♠8♦10♠ flop, Umberto Zaffagnini, who was seated under the gun, got his 41,200 chips into the middle, with Traian Stanciu trying to bust him from the small blind.

Zaffagnini had top pair, but Stanciu had plenty of outs with two cards to come.

Borja Diaz raised to 2,100 from under the gun, which both Matt Davenport and Jan Bendik called from the button and big blind.
The action checked to Davenport on the 3♦8♠Q♦ flop, who bet 2,600. Bendik folded, but Diaz responded with a check-raise to 9,800. Davenport took his time formulating a plan before choosing to three-bet to 21,500. Diaz wasted no time waving the white flag and returning his cards to the dealer.
Before mucking his cards, Davenport flipped over the A♦.

Francesco Signorello limped from early position, and when it folded to Lin Chen in the big blind, Chen turned over his A♠8♠, having not spotted Signorello's limp. The floor was called, and it was deemed that the hand would continue with Chen's cards exposed for all to see.
Both players checked down the Q♥2♦10♥Q♣7♣ runout, and when Signorello didn't immediately show his cards, Chen perked up and asked, "Do I win?"
Unsurprisingly, Chen's exposed ace-high wasn't enough to win the hand, as Signorello tabled 3♣3♥ for a pair of threes to win the pot.
