Liebrechts Gains a Little, Bjoerloew Eliminated

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dominique Liebrechts moved all-in for 29,000 from under the gun, and, although nobody called, Helge Bjoerloew was already forced all-in from the small blind, taking the two to a showdown.

Helge Bjoerloew: 8♠4♥ All in
Dominique Liebrechts: 9♥9♣

Bjoerloew improved to two pair on the 8♣4♦9♦ flop, but was still left drawing close to dead, as Liebrechts had flopped top set.

The 3♠ turn confirmed Bjoerloew's fate, and he headed out as the dealer completed the board with the K♣.

Vito Recchimurzo
Vito Recchimurzo

Cesar Veroez raised to 4,000 from early position and David Djian called from the next seat. Vito Recchimurzo squeezed to 15,000 from the hijack, and Veroez four-bet to 40,000 when the action got back to him. Djian folded, but Recchimurzo five-bet jammed for about 70,000. Veroez stuck in the call.

Vito Recchimurzo: Q♣Q♥ All in
Cesar Veroez: K♣K♦

Both held premium pocket pairs, although it was Recchimurzo who needed to find another lady, or he would be forced to leave the tournament area.

He found no assistance on the 4♣J♥10♣7♦9♦ board, and Veroez's cowboys held up to send Recchimurzo to the exit.

Carneiro Runs Into Cowboys

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Joao Carneiro raised to 4,000 in middle position before calling when Ayvar Akhmedov three-bet to 9,500 from the small blind.

Akhmedov continued for 8,500 on a J♠5♣8♦ flop, which Carneiro called. Akhmedov then checked on the 8♠ turn, prompting Carneiro to take over the betting lead, putting 10,000 into the middle. Akhmedov moved all-in, asking Carneiro to put his stack of roughly 44,500 at risk, and Carneiro obliged, making the call.

Joao Carneiro: A♥J♣ All in
Ayvar Akhmedov: K♠K♣

There was no help waiting for Carneiro on the river, as the 5♦ completed the board, sending him to the rail.

Pinow's Higher Two Pair Eliminates Omarov

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jeferson Pinow raised from the cutoff and Dzhavanshyr Omarov defended from the big blind.

Omarov check-called bets from Pinow on the Q♠2♦8♥ flop and 4♥ turn. The first was for 7,000 and the second 13,000.

Omarov elected to lead all in for 13,000 when he saw the A♠ river, and Pinow quickly called.

Omarov turned over A♥2♥ for two pair, but was beaten by Pinow's A♣Q♣ for a higher two pair, sending Omarov to the rail.

Ioannis Oikonomidis: K♠K♦

Rakaczki Runs into Boski's Bullets

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Andrey Andreev raised to 3,000 under the gun and Peter Rakaczki jammed from middle position for 23,000. Aleksander Da Silva Boski called from the big blind, which forced Andreev to fold.

Peter Rakaczki: K♦J♦ All in
Aleksander Da Silva Boski: A♥A♦

Rakaczki was not in good shape against Boski's aces, but the K♥9♣4♣ flop gave him some hope with top pair.

The 7♥ turn meant only a king or jack on the river would save Rakaczki.

It wasn't to be as the 8♦ completed the board, sending Rakaczki to the rail.
