The dealer spread the 8♠Q♠3♥ flop, and both checked to see the J♠ on the turn. Akemi put out a delayed continuation-bet of 140,000, which Carbo called.
The 7♠ fell on the river, and Akemi fired for 445,000. Carbo let it go, and Akemi won the pot.
Edward Pak raised to 100,000 in the hijack, and only Vasyl Pidhrusnyi called in the big blind.
When Pidhrusnyi checked on the 3♣8♥4♠ flop, Pak continued for 90,000, and Pidhrusnyi called. The J♥ turn was checked through, but when Pidhrusnyi checked again on the K♥ river, Pak fired 325,000. That did the trick, as Pidhrusnyi folded.
The very next shuffle, Pak raised to 100,000 again. This time it was Alexandru Toderita who attempted to defend his big blind. However, when the dealer spread a 2♣5♠A♦ flop, Toderita check-folded when Pak continued for 75,000.
Gerard Carbo raised to 100,000 from under the gun, which only Barbara Akemi called from the small blind.
The action checked through on the 9♥10♣J♠ flop, and the dealer provided the Q♥ turn. Akemi bet 140,000, and Carbo called. Akemi slowed down on the J♥ river, checking to Carbo, who bet 375,000. After using a time extension to think it through, Akemi called with her K♠Q♦, only to find out her straight had been run down by the J♣9♣ of Carbo, whose two pair had filled up on the river.
Toni Kaukua raised the hijack to 100,000, and Joris Ruijs defended from the big blind.
Ruijs checked on the A♠8♠5♠ flop, and Kaukua fired a continuation-bet of 75,000. Ruijs check-raised to 200,000, which Kaukua called.
The 6♥ fell on the turn, and Ruijs placed out a bet of 450,000. This was enough to get Kaukua to fold, and Ruijs took down the pot.
It folded to Jose Criado in the small blind, who raised J♣8♠ to 170,000. Barbara Akemi was in the big blind, and she called with K♣3♣. Criado continued for 80,000 on the 2♣3♦10♣ flop. Akemi called, and the 3♥ emerged from the deck on the turn.
Criado kept firing, betting 225,000 into his opponent. Akemi played her turned trips slow, as she just called to the K♥ river. Criado spent one of his time banks before completing his triple-barrel with a bet of 640,000.
Akemi used three time banks of her own, then cut out a raise to 3,200,000, virtually putting herself all in. Criado snap-folded his jack-high, and Akemi shipped the pot without showing her cards.
Nicolas Chouity raised to 100,000 in the hijack. Toni Kaukua defended his big blind, after which both players checked the 10♠8♣3♣ flop.
Kaukua checked the J♥ turn as well, prompting Chouity to bet 125,000. Kaukua called to the 7♠ river, where both players knuckled the table once more.
Kaukua showed 10♥9♥ for a rivered straight. Chouity showed his opponent the J♣ before he mucked the other card in defeat.
Arnaud Enselme raised to 100,000 from under the gun, and Fabricio Nociolini called next to act.
The action checked through on the 7♦8♠4♣ flop, and the A♥ joined the board. Enselme checked again before calling when Nociolini bet 185,000.
After Enselme checked again on the J♣ river, Nociolini wisely checked back.
Enselme tabled A♦J♥, good for a rivered two pair, while Nociolini had A♠Q♥.
Joris Ruijs raised to 100,000 on the button, and Alexandru Toderita defended his big blind.
The action checked down to the 8♦7♠7♥4♠10♥ river, at which point Toderita decided to bet 65,000. Ruijs didn't take much time to fold, and Toderita added important chips to his short stack.
Lukas van Eeden raised to 100,000 under the gun, and Edward Pak defended from the big blind.
Pak checked on the 2♦J♣8♣ flop and then folded when Van Eeden bet 100,000.
On the next hand, Toni Kaukua raised the button to 100,000, and Van Eeden called from the big blind.
Once Van Eeden checked the Q♦J♦9♠ flop, Kaukua fired a continuation-bet of 90,000, which was more than enough to get Van Eeden to fold.
Xiaosheng Zheng raised to 105,000 from under the gun and Fabricio Nociolini jammed the cutoff for 680,000. When the action got back to Zheng, he made the call and the players flipped their cards.
