Ju went deep into the tank, spending several of his time extensions before he flicked in a calling chip. Mestre showed K♠Q♣ for kings and threes. Ju could not beat that hand, adding his cards to the muck in defeat.

Laurent Polito opened to 45,000 from the hijack, which only Miroslav Rizov in the small blind called.

Rizov checked in flow on the K♦8♥9♣ flop, and Polito continued with a bet of 40,000. Rizov responded with a check-raise to 95,000, and, almost as quickly as he had slid the raise into the middle, Polito moved all in for 210,000, which Rizov called.

The 8♦ turn wiped out some of Rizov's outs, leaving him requiring one of the two remaining kings in the deck.

Stanislav Anufriiev raised to 40,000 in the cutoff. Small blind Jose Malpelli three-bet to 140,000 in the small blind, prompting big blind Roman Stoica to four-bet to 240,000.

Anufriiev quickly folded, but Malpelli instantly jammed all in. Stoica flung his cards into the muck in frustration, shipping the pot to Malpelli without showdown.

On another table, Laurent Polito made it 40,000 to go in the cutoff. Hugo Blaison defended his big blind and check-called Polito's continuation-bet of 65,000 on the 4♥5♦6♥ flop.

The 5♥ turn then checked through to the Q♣ river. Blaison checked a third time, enticing Polito to bet 155,000. Blaison made a quick call, and he won the pot when Polito opted not to show his bluff and mucked his cards to forfeit.

Binder then assembled a gargantuan raise to 500,000 and slid it into the middle. Lasouski sighed as he quickly called.

Binder tabled K♦Q♦ for a full house, and Lasouski frustratedly showed his A♠J♣ for a rivered straight as he was left with under 20 big blinds to play with.
