Garcia Crashes Out in Massive Encounter With Abreu
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Cesar Garcia and Jorge Abreu went to the turn on a board of 3♥3♦10♥2♥ when Garcia bet 105,000 from early position. Abreu called on the button.
The river was the 6♣ and Garcia bet 400,000. Abreu quickly announced all in.
"Do you have tens again?" Garcia said as he let out an exasperated sigh. He spent a minute in the tank before calling for around 700,000, and Abreu turned over 3♣3♠ for quads.
"Nice hand," Garcia said, tossing A♥K♥ into the muck and shooting up from his seat to leave the table. He returned a few minutes later to give Abreu a fist bump, and Abreu was still busy stacking up his chips from the massive pot that put him above 2,000,000.
