Joachim Meisolle raised to 150,000 in the hijack. It folded to Felix Schneiders in the big blind, who defended.

Meisolle placed bets of 150,000 on both the 6♠Q♦10♣ flop and 8♣ turn, with Schneiders check-calling both times.

The 9♦ river then completed the board. Schneiders led out for 350,000, receiving a quick call. Schneiders tabled Q♥J♥ for a straight.

"No way!" Meisolle exclaimed a few times, followed by an expletive as he showed A♠Q♠. His top pair, top kicker was no longer good as the pot was shipped Schneiders' way, leaving Meisolle with 12 big blinds.

Schneiders Takes a Hit as Jozonis Shows Down Trips

Felix Schneiders raised to 100,000 under the gun and was called by Tomas Jozonis on the button and by Joris Ruijs in the big blind.

Action checked to Jozonis on the A♥K♠K♥ flop, and he bet 100,000. Only Schneiders called.

Schneiders again checked the 9♠ turn, and Jozonis bet 350,000. Schneiders called to the J♣ river and checked, and Jozonis then bet 350,000. Schneiders quickly called, and Jozonis showed K♣Q♣ for trips to win the pot.

Abreu called, after which the K♣ river was checked to showdown. Garhsofsky tabled 8♦7♣ for two pair, but Abreu had a higher two pair with J♣9♦.

Mariani then bet 125,000, and Teusl called. Both players checked down the 10♦ turn and Q♦ river, and Teusl showed A♦J♥ for a pair of jacks. Mariani mucked 8♦6♦.

The flop came 7♥6♥2♥ and Wojciechowski continued for 70,000. Ruijs then raised to 200,000, and Wojciechowski again folded.

Every winter, Matan Krakow makes it a point to travel from his home in Israel to play in the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague. It’s his favorite stop of the year. It’s where he first cashed in an EPT festival nearly fifteen years ago. And in December, at the final table of the 2025 EPT Prague Main Event, Krakow enjoyed his crowning achievement in a long career in the poker industry.

Krakow spiked a flush on the river to defeat Turkey’s Bora Kurtulus heads up and capture the prestigious PokerStars golden shard trophy and €778,255 top prize for prevailing over the 1,224-entry field.

“It’s more exciting than I can put into words. It’s a dream come true. It really is,” the new champion said with the gold-plated trophy by his side and confetti strewn across the floor, taking in the scene that most poker players can only dream of.
