Horrid Minutes for the German Speaking Players

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Nikolaus Teichert was all in for his last 10,800 chips with {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds} and Bjorn Wiesler held up with {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs}. Nico Maag ran with pocket threes into {K-} {Q-} for his last 55,000 chips and couldn't win the flip and then there was also the bustout of Gerald Karlic.

He defended against a raise of Francesco Grieco and another player also called to see the flop of {3-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {9-Spades}. Karlic check-called a continuation bet of 19,000 and then check-raised all in for his last 118,200 on the {10-Clubs} turn after Grieco had fired another 28,000. The Italian called with {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} and Karlic's {J-Spades} {10-Spades} failed to improve with a {Q-Clubs} as final community card.

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Ronit Chamani moved all in preflop and saw Nicco Maag re-hsove behind. The plyer in the big blind thought about making the call but in the end left them to it.

Chamani was at risk and couldn’t breathe as she tabled her {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and saw she was up against the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Maag.

The board ran out {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and visibly relieved Chamani let out a breath and collected the pot. The two players either side of her took turns to clasp her hand in congratulations.

Botond Binks To Crack Haanniemi Aces

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Oliver Price opened the action for 6,000 and Jari Haanniemi popped it up to 14,000. Balasz Botond next to him made the call and when the blinds folded so did Price.

Three players saw the flop of {5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Price checked it to Haanniemi who bet 28,000. Botond raised him to 62,000 and Price folded.

Haanniemi toyed with his chips for a while before announcing all in and getting an instant call from Botond who turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Haanniemi’s {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} had been well and truly out flopped.

A turn {4-Clubs} and river {10-Hearts} saw the stacks counted down and Botond was left wil barley anything while Haanniemi doubled up.

Morten Mortensen had Mikhail Mazunin and Igor Pihela Jr. at risk with both players well below average and the Dane had the worst hand in {A-Spades} {10-Hearts}. Pihela Jr. was looking to make a recovery to his stack with {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} whereas Mazunin was hoping for a triple up with {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades}.

However, the board ran out {8-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} to give Mortensen a flush and knock out both opponents.

Vos Doubles

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

With a raise to 6,000 and a call by Liv Boeree, Pascal Vos had all the incentive to squeeze his short stack in. He shoved for 26,500 and Nguyen Quang Minh from the Czech Republic raised to 52,200 from the small blind. The big blind, initial raiser, and Liv Boeree all folded and it was time for the showdown.

Nguyen Quang Minh showed up with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} but he wasn't as dominating as he might have hoped. Vos tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and spiked a king in the window: {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Vos doubled and then some, small los for Minh.
