Boiko Bounced From Main

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Iaroslav Boiko got the last of his chips in the middle with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. When you’re short you’re looking to get it in with a good pair. Good, but not good enough against the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} of Gabi Livshitz.

The dealer put out the community cards {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and for Boiko the tournament was over.

Acksel Busts Segoura

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Carole Segoura was all in and at risk preflop for the remainder of her tiny stack with {6-Hearts} {6-Spades} against the {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades} of Mirko Acksel and the German held up on a board of {5-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}.

Botond Busts Ristola

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Balazs Botond
Balazs Botond

A day to forget for Markus Ristola. First the move with {9-Spades} {10-Spades} that cost him almost half his stack and now he ran with {A-Hearts} {6-Spades} into the {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} of Balazs Botond. The Eureka Prague Main Event winner would hold up with his kicker on the {8-Hearts} {3-Spades} {4-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} board and Ristola was done in.

Duchies Done For

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Pascal Vos has been eliminated from the tournament. According to one of his country mates he lost with pocket nines to pocket tens. Someone opened, and Vos shoved with nines from the big blind. The board came queen high and displayed no nines so Vos hit the rail.

Former Dutch EPT Grand Final winner Pieter de Korver has also been eliminated. We found his registration slip in the list of bust outs and the German media reported that he lost a flip for 55,000 chips with pocket queens against the {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} as a king appeared on the turn.

Horrid Minutes for the German Speaking Players

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Nikolaus Teichert was all in for his last 10,800 chips with {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds} and Bjorn Wiesler held up with {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs}. Nico Maag ran with pocket threes into {K-} {Q-} for his last 55,000 chips and couldn't win the flip and then there was also the bustout of Gerald Karlic.

He defended against a raise of Francesco Grieco and another player also called to see the flop of {3-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {9-Spades}. Karlic check-called a continuation bet of 19,000 and then check-raised all in for his last 118,200 on the {10-Clubs} turn after Grieco had fired another 28,000. The Italian called with {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} and Karlic's {J-Spades} {10-Spades} failed to improve with a {Q-Clubs} as final community card.

Chamani Can Breathe Again

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Ronit Chamani moved all in preflop and saw Nicco Maag re-hsove behind. The plyer in the big blind thought about making the call but in the end left them to it.

Chamani was at risk and couldn’t breathe as she tabled her {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and saw she was up against the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Maag.

The board ran out {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and visibly relieved Chamani let out a breath and collected the pot. The two players either side of her took turns to clasp her hand in congratulations.
