Ryan Eliminated by Strassmann

Danny Ryan
Danny Ryan
Danny Ryan is one of the best online SNG players of all time. This time he got his money in with the best hand, {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, against Johannes Strassmann’s {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, but even though the flop came blank -- {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} -- the {A-Clubs} on the turn was enough to end the day for the popular American. We are now down to nine players and we will see a new draw for the TV table. With one more elimination we have reached the final table.

Friederich Eliminated by Perez

Tyler Friederich and Diego Perez saw an {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and both players checked. On the {J-Spades} turn, Friederich checked again, Perez bet 40k into the 85k pot, Friederich went all in with {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for two pair, and Perez called straight away showing {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for the Broadway straight. Friederich needed a jack or a ten but the river brought a {3-Diamonds} instead. Tyler Friederich is our 11th-place finisher, collecting 41,100 Euros. We will see two more eliminations today before Day 3 is over and they will both receive 52,200 Euros.

Ryan Doubles Up on Carter

Daniel Ryan went all-in pre-flop holding {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and was called by Daniel Carter, who had {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Carter looked good to eliminate Ryan up until the turn, as the board was {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs} at that point, but the {A-Hearts} on the river saved Ryan, who is now back in great shape. Carter is down on a short stack.

Two More Eliminations

Suddenly the bustouts are coming quickly. Both Jiri Kulhanek and Manfred Hammer were eliminated within two minutes of each other and each received €31,700. The next player out will get €41,100. As soon as we are down to eight players, the day is over and the remaining players will come back tomorrow to play the final table.
