Drewett Penalised After Crazy Hand

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

L M open-shoved for 51,000 and was called in the next position by Christopher Drewett. As the action folded around, Alexander Zeligman was the last player to act in the big blind. However, having believed everyone else had folded, Drewett turned his hand over exposing {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

With Zeligman left to act, the floor was consulted and it was ruled that all actions would be available for Drewett for the rest of the hand. Zeligman called and the flop was {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

With the jacks having flopped a set, Zeligman checked and Drewett checked behind. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and Zeligman checked, and this time open-folded {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} after Drewett put out a bet.

The all-in player had already gotten to his feet and slammed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} face up on the table having turned a higher set. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and that player tripled.
