Jack Hardcastle
Jack Hardcastle

Jack Hardcastle was spotted taking his seat in the Main Event after being eliminated from the GUKPT High Roller event and was immediately involved in a hand.

Thomas Hall limped from under the gun before John Hall made it 1,300. Hardcastle called from the small blind as did Hall.

Action checked to the preflop raiser who jammed his big stack on the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Both players folded and Hall chipped up.

Sam Grafton opened to 700 from middle position and was only called by Lewis Spencer in the hijack.

Both players checked the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop through to the {2-Spades} turn. Grafton bet 3,500 and was called. On the {6-Hearts} river, Grafton put Spencer all-in and was snap-called. Grafton turned over pocket fours but they were bested by Spencer's {a-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Grafton and Swift Scoop Early Pots After the Break

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Katie Swift called the 800 bet from Ryan Mandara from the small blind to see the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. Swift check-called a bet of 700 before action checked through on the {3-Clubs} turn and {k-Spades} river. Mandara tabled queen-jack for top pair but Swift held {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} to scoop with a flush.

Sam Grafton also picked up a small pot from David Crane on the opposite table. His {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} was good enoughh to rake in the chips after the board displayed {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Israel Avraham opened to 700 from middle position before John Bousfield raised to 2,300 on his immediate left. Antoine Saout then four-bet to 4,200 from the cutoff. Adam Miller called from the big blind, Avraham folded and Bousfield called.

Bousfield then moved all-in on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop for 5,700. Both of his opponents called.

Action checked through on the {9-Clubs} turn with the {a-Hearts} hitting the river. Saout then bet 7,000 which Miller folded to.
