Ng Chipping Up

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jim Kasputis opened for 18,000 under the gun and Dennis Ng made it 35,000 on the button. Kasputis called they saw a {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, which Kasputis check-called for 30,000. He checked the {9-Clubs} turn and Ng set him in for about 100,000, resulting in a quick fold.

The next hand, Blake Whittington opened for 20,000 on Ng's right and Ng reraised to 40,000. Whittington called and they checked down {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, resulting in Ng winning with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Cerminara Doubles Through Raghavan Before Break

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Frank Cerminara
Frank Cerminara

In one of the last hands before break, Frank Cerminara and Ravi Raghavan were all in on a {7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. The money was already pulled into the middle so we didn't see how much the all-in of Cerminara was worth, but he was at risk.

When action was complete at the other tables, Cerminara flipped his {7-}{7-} for a set and Raghavan showed {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for top two. The board ran out {3-Spades} and {2-Diamonds} and Cerminara doubled up.

Players are on break for 15 minutes, still on the bubble.

Reiman Busted, Bubble Arrives

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ty Reiman got his remaining 30,000 or so in on the cutoff with {a-Spades}{4-Spades} and was at risk and dominated by small blind Brad Rhodes, who had {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The board ran out {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts} and the recent ring winner headed for the door.

The tournament is now one off the money and dealing hand-for-hand.

To Picks Off O'Neill

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

David To bet 37,000 from the big blind on {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Mike O'Neill raised from the cutoff to 85,000. To took a long time to think then stuck in a stack of chips.

"Good call," O'Neill said, turning over {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

To showed {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for two pair and took it down.
