Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Reilly Rivers a Flush

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With three players in the pot on a flop of {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, action was checked through to the {4-Diamonds} turn. The first player to act bet 3,300. Bill Reilly called in middle position and Joey Zahn folded from the button. The two remaining players continued, and the {8-Diamonds} came on the river. The first player to act checked, and Reilly bet 10,600. After getting a count and thinking, the player called. Reilly showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered flush, and the other player showed {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a rivered set, which was no good.

Rubinberg Loses Some Extra Chips

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Andy Rubinberg bet 3,300 from the hijack on {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and his opponent in the big blind put in 5,300 in an attempt to call. Unfortunately for him, the dealer said that constituted a raise and he was forced to put in 6,600. Rubinberg quickly called and each player checked the {10-Diamonds} river.

The big blind showed {k-Spades}{6-Spades} for a straight and Rubinberg sigh and flashed the {9-Hearts}, saying he had {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Wagner Busts Spears

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action was joined as Andy Spears had announced he was all in over a raise from Dan Wagner on a {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop. Wagner made the call and showed {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Spears turned over {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} and was in trouble. The {5-Clubs} on the turn gave Spears two outs, but the river was a clean {2-Hearts} and he was sent to the rail.
