Jablonski Shows Krency

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After a raise and a call, Stan Jablonski made it 50,000 to go in the cutoff. The opener mucked but flatter Doug Krency came along for the {7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. Krency checked, Jablonski bet 125,000 and Krency called with the quickness. On the {k-Spades} river, though, Krency snap-folded to a shove.

"Had you beat before that," Jablonski assured him, showing {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

Waltonbaugh Coolers Opponent

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Lydia Waltonbaugh just won a massive pot all-in preflop. Stacks were being counted by the dealer, though her opponent was long gone from the table before it was confirmed that her stack covered his.

Lydia Waltonbaugh: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board had ran out {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Waltonbaugh now has over half a million chips.

Abel Sends Finberg Home

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Griffin Abel
Griffin Abel

We joined action in a three-way flop of {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} between Kelly Becker in the small blind, Rich Finberg in middle position, and Griffin Abel to his direct left with around 56,000 in the pot. Becker and Finberg checked, and Abel fired a bet of 28,000. Becker folded and Finberg made the call. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Finberg checked to Abel, who bet 30,000. Finberg immediately shoved all in for around 85,000 and Abel beat him to the pot with a call.

Immediately after calling, Abel turned over {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for the second-nut flush. Finberg tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and was drawing dead as the {6-Hearts} fell on the river.

Gruseck Finishes Janes

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Nathan Janes checked out of the big blind and James Gruseck said he was all in. It was about 70,000 and Janes sighed and called it off.

Gruseck showed {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair and Janes was in awful shape with {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. He needed a chop but the {4-} on the river sent him to the rail.

Penny Banhidy: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Andy Spears: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Spears held up on the {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board.

Pisano Three-Bets Flop

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

James Pisano opened to 15,000 from early position and action folded to Andy Spears in the small blind, who made the call. The big blind folded, and the flop came {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Spears checked, and Pisano made a continuation-bet of 20,000. Spears looked across the table at Pisano's stack and raised to 55,000. After about 15 seconds, Pisano announced he was all in and put around 180,000 into the middle. Spears quickly folded.

Pheasant Finishes Joll

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ray Joll got the last of his chips in, about 40,000, with {k-}{5-} but was dominated by the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of Steve Pheasant. The {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} was a good flop for Pheasant and the {2-Hearts} sealed it for him on the turn.

Connell Doubles Through Stevens

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jimmy Stevens
Jimmy Stevens

Jimmy Stevens was in the tank on the button facing what appeared to be an all-in four-bet from Sean Connell. Stevens had put in 30,000 and Connell shipped in 172,000. Stevens announced a call and Connell tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

Stevens held {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and got good news as {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flopped. The {a-Spades} turn gave Connell a few more outs and the {k-Hearts} river sent some gasps through the players as Connell nailed kings full. Initially upset after the river, Stevens sent a heartfelt "nice hand" over as he shipped the chips.
