Richard Mijares went all in from early position and saw Steve Wilkie go all in over the top of him from middle position. All remaining players folded and the two turned up their hands.

Richard Mijares: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Steve Wilkie: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Mijares was at risk of seeing his tournament run come to an end as the dealer fanned a flop of {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The turn {4-Clubs} gave him four more outs to a gutshot straight, however the river fell {10-Clubs} and he was left with the second-best hand, hitting the rail in 14th place as a result.

McCall Gets There To Double Against Pupillo

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Glenda McCall went all in from middle position and Nick Pupillo reraised all in over the top of her from the cutoff. All remaining players folded, including Syd Masters after a lengthy deliberation.

Glenda McCall: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Nick Pupillo: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

McCall's sixes were up against a bigger pair in Pupillo's kings, leaving her in need of improving to stay alive. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}, sending Masters into a frenzy as he said he folded pocket jacks. The show went on, bringing the turn {9-Clubs}. McCall then hit gin on the river {6-Diamonds}, giving "The Witch" three sixes to stay alive as she earned another double.

Masters Gets a Lucky Double

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Roberg Meglich opened to 40,000 from middle position and was called by both John Small in the cutoff and Jason Su in the small blind. Action was then on Syd Masters, who was in the big blind and three-bet all in.

Meglich asked for a count, which was totaled to be 437,000, and announced he was all in over the top. Small and Su got out of the way.

"I think I like your chances better," said Masters as he admitted to getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Syd Masters: {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Robert Meglich: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Masters was correct as the flop came {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, giving him a few more outs to a wheel. The turn {5-Spades} gave him a pair, putting him out in front. The river fell {a-Spades} to give him aces up, earning the double at Meglich's expense as he snatched life from the jaws of death.

Greg Jennings Eliminated in 16th Place ($5,815)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Greg Jennings
Greg Jennings

There was over 200,000 in the middle on a board of {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Corey Williams bet 140,000 from the cutoff after Greg Jennings checked to him from under the gun. Jennings check-raised all in and Williams asked for a count, which totaled 527,000.

Williams went into the tank for over a minute before dropping in a stack of chips to call.

Greg Jennings: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Corey Williams: {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

WIlliams was unhappy with seeing Jennings having outplayed him by check-raising all in with Broadway. He had four outs left with one chance to hit them. Luckily for him, he would do just that as the river fell {q-Clubs} to give Williams the full house, sending Jennings to the payout desk as the 16th place finisher as a result.

Fireworks were in the process of flying as Jason Su and Robert Meglich got stacks in preflop. According to tablemate Steve Wilkie, Meglich opened from under the gun and was three-bet by Jason Su, who was on the button. Meglich four-bet all in and Su quickly called.

Robert Meglich: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
