Kicker Problems Leave Flanagan Short

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Barry Furlong opened to 110,000 from middle position, only to see Tomas Flanagan three-bet to 325,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Furlong, who called.

The dealer spread a K83 flop, and both players checked.

Furlong led out for 250,000 on the 9 turn, which Flanagan called.

The Q completed the board, and Furlong put 400,000 into the middle. Again, Flanagan called.

Furlong flipped over KJ, which was enough to beat the K10 of Flanagan.

Cendoya Latest to Fall

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jokin Cendoya raised to 650,000, leaving himself just 15,000 behind. Not realising the bet was not an all-in, Gavin Sardini called and flipped over his cards, revealing ace-king.

The floor was called, and they ruled that the hand would play as normal, just that Cendoya would have the obvious extra information of his opponent's hand.

The dealer spread a king-high 9K2 flop, and Sardini bet 50,000. Cendoya called for his remaining 15,000.

Jokin Cendoya: AJ All in
Gavin Sardini: AK

There was no saving grace for Cendoya, as the 4 turn and Q river completed the board.

In the cutoff, Gavin Sardini opened to 100,000 off of a huge stack. Seamus Cahill then three-bet to 275,000 on the button, and Sardini called after it had folded back to him.

The Q23 flop saw Cahill continue for 100,000. Sardini gave it some thought, but opted to muck his cards and grant the pot to his opponent.

Big Stacks Clash, No Blood Drawn

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Narcis Nedelcu opened to 100,000 from middle position, which saw Kenneth Svendsen respond with a three-bet to 325,000 from the hijack. The action returned to Nedelcu, who four-bet to 700,000, which Svendsen called.

Both players checked on the 396 flop, and the A turn joined the board.

Nedelcu checked, prompting Svendsen to put a bet of 600,000 into the middle. After a moment's consideration, Nedelcu moved all in for 2,200,000. Svendsen didn't love the situation, but called nonetheless.

Kenneth Svendsen: AK

As it turned out, the two players had the same hand.

The dealer completed the board with the 9 before chopping the pot and moving on.

Shoves Goes Unchallenged

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On one table, Dan Wilson opened to 100,000 in the hijack and soon found himself facing a three-bet all-in for 495,000 from Philip Baker. The action returned to Wilson, who opted to fold.

One table over, Carlo Citrone opened to 100,000 in middle position and also faced a three-bet. Ali Abdulzahra raised to 250,000 from the cutoff. When the action folded back to Citrone, he took a few moments before moving all in. Before his chips had even been pushed into the middle, Abdulzahra folded.
