2026 Irish Open
Sergiu Covrig opened to 27,000 from under the gun, which both Gerard Walsh and Adam Nattress called in the small and big blind, respectively.
The dealer burned and turned a A♣2♣Q♥ flop, and Walsh didn't hang around. Taking over the betting lead, he flicked 20,000 into the middle. Nattress folded, but Covrig called.
The flush-completing 4♣ joined the board, and Walsh stuck with the same strategy, putting another bet of 20,000 into the middle. Covrig tapped the table in appreciation of the play and returned his cards to the dealer.
Walsh flipped over the A♦, showing the table he had a pair.
Hongting Xu opened to 26,000 as first to act. The action folded to Will Kassouf in the small blind, who took some time before three-betting to 86,000.
Xu responded with an all-in four-bet, sending Kassouf into the tank once again.
"Do you want me to call?" Kassouf asked Xu, but he got no response from his opponent.
Eventually, Kassouf forfeited the pot by mucking his cards, and the chips were sent Xu's way.
The remaining 500 players are taking their second 20-minute break of the day.
Level: 20
Blinds: 8,000/16,000

Kenneth Svendsen checked from the big blind on a completed board of 7♠8♠9♠2♣3♣. Tadgh Meegan then moved all in for 410,000, which looked to be an overbet of around one and a half times the pot.
Svendsen went deep into the tank, but eventually found a call with the covering stack. Meegan could only show queen-high with his Q♥J♦, leaving Svendsen to take the pot with J♣10♣ for a flopped straight.
Yucel Eminoglu kicked that action off with a raise to 32,000 from the cutoff. After some deliberation, Attila Koncz responded by moving all in for 365,000 from the small blind. The action was then on Michael Prendergast in the big blind, who moved his stack of 254,000 into the middle too.
Eminoglu folded, and the two all-in players flipped their cards over.
Michael Prendergast: A♣A♦
Attila Koncz: J♠J♥
As Prendergast scrambled to get his phone out to record the proceedings, the dealer provided a K♣5♣K♠9♥3♥ runout, which saw the aces hold up, and the huge pot was pushed in the direction of Prendergast.
When the action folded to Adrien Burgniard in the small blind, he moved all in, covering the stack of PokerStars Team Pro Rory Jennings in the big blind. After taking a look at his hand, Jennings commited his remaining chips, roughly 65,000 into the middle.
Rory Jennings: 10♠9♠
Adrien Burgniard: A♣6♠
The A♥2♦A♦ flop had Jennings drawing dead, and he was up and out of his seat with the ever-present smile on his face as the 8♦ turn and 6♣ river completed the board.
