Kevin O'Malley opened to 32,000 in the cutoff and Willo Connolly three-bet jammed from the button for 134,000.

O'Malley comfortably covered Connolly but took some time over his decision before making the call.

Connolly was ahead but that soon changed after the K♣J♦6♦ flop left Connolly drawing to an ace, which did not arrive on the J♣ turn and 10♠ river.

Connolly exited and the tournament director announced that the clock would be paused for bubble play. 86 players currently remain with 84 paid.

Francis Onwuka had defended his big blind versus Aidan Hynes under the gun open.

Hynes continued on the J♠7♣7♦ flop with a bet of 26,000 only to met by a check-jam from Onwuka, who comfortably covered Hynes.

With the bubble approaching, Onwuka was applying maximum pressure on Hynes, who took some time to make his decision before mucking his hand, leaving him with less than 10 big blinds.

Conor O'Driscoll had opened to 32,000 in early position only to met by a min-click three-bet to 48,000 by Glenn Miller in the cutoff.

O'Driscoll considered his options momentarily before producing a four-bet jam which put Miller to the test for his entire stack, with O'Driscoll covering his opponent by a reasonable margin.

Miller didn't take long to put his hand in the muck allowing O'Driscoll to chip up unopposed.
