Mick Graydon had opened to 3,500 from the button, only to be faced with a three-bet to 8,800 from Martin Bader in the small blind.
Action folded back to Graydon, who produced a four-bet to 17,000. Bader shook his head and quickly folded, sending the pot to Graydon.
Josh Goodman had defended his big blind against Turlough McHugh's button open, and check-called a bet of 6,700 from his opponent on a flop of 8♣A♣9♠.
The 6♥ turn was checked through by both players, as was the K♦ turn.
Goodman showed J♦9♦ for a pair of nines and McHugh quickly mucked his hand.
