Goodman Takes Pot With Kings

Picking the action up on the turn with the board reading 43J7 and 6,000 in the middle, Josh Goodman had fired out a bet of 2,100 only to met by a three-bet to 5,500 from Ross Ellis. Goodman called.

The A river was an action killer bringing checks from both players. Goodman turned over KK and Ellis mucked his hand.

Jamie Whyte opened to 800 under the gun and was called by David Barnes in the next seat and Sam Haughton in the big blind.

On a flop of 1034 Haughton checked to Whyte, who put out a bet of 1,200. Barnes folded and Haughton called.

The turn brought the 6 and Haughton check-called a bet of 3,600 from Whyte.

The 5 river brought all kinds of danger for Whyte versus Haughton's big blind range, and was duly checked through by both players.

Whyte showed KK for a pair of kings while Haughton turned over J10 for top pair, allowing Whyte to scoop the pot.

McLean Busts Farrell

Picking the action up in a three-way pot on a flop of K29 with 3,600 in the middle, Colin Doyle put out a bet of 2,200, receiving a fold from Matthew Furzeman and a call from Sean O'Sullivan.
