Yanovski Earns Massive Double Off Riebau-Schmithals
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 8♦5♦9♣, Leonid Yanovski made a pot-sized bet of 112,000 before Fabian Riebau-Schmithals, on the button, moved all in. Yanovski snap-called for his last 250,000.
Leonid Yanovski: K♣K♥10♣8♠
Fabian Riebau-Schmithals: Q♠10♦9♥8♥
Riebau-Schmithals was ahead with two pair, but Yanovski spiked a straight as the board ran out 7♥J♠ to earn a double up.
"I wouldn't fold myself," Yanovski told Riebau-Schmithals.
"I was trying to see if I can call and fold you off diamonds," Riebau-Schmithals replied as they headed off on break.
