Van Loo Picks Off Schlegl
Level 14
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tim Van Loo was on the button and bet 45,000 on a board of 6♣4♠J♣10♦. August Schlegl called in the small blind, as did Matthias Kribben under the gun.
The river came the Q♥ and Schlegl led out for 125,000. Kribben quickly got out of the way, but Van Loo tanked for more than a minute before he called.
Schlegl turned over A♥J♥5♣3♥ for a pair of jacks, while Van Loo had K♥J♦9♦5♦ for a straight to win the pot.
