Balci Sends Baptista Out Before the Money

The flop showed Q♠5♣4♦ and Ali Balci opted for a bet worth 50,000. Duarte Baptista then raised the pot to 228,000 from one seat over with slightly more than that behind.

Balci went into the tank and briefly vaulted out of his seat to carefully study the stack size of his opponent before pushing all-in. Baptista called it off and the cards were revealed.

Neither the 3♥ turn nor the 7♥ river brought any help and Baptista waved his goodbyes with a simple "nice hand".

The river came the 10♣ and Uharcek checked over to Buettner, who fired out 125,000. Uharcek spent a few moments in the tank before calling.

Buettner then showed A♠K♦J♠8♥ for the rivered straight and Uharcek mucked.

Tiyanes Yildirim raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Lautaro Guerra defended the big blind.Both players checked the J♥J♣6♠ flop before Guerra bet the 4♦ turn for 55,000. Yildirim tank-called and had fewer than the size of the pot behind.

Guerra then bet the pot for 188,000 on the J♠ river and Yildirim reluctantly paid it off. Guerra revealed his J♦10♦10♣10♥ for quads and Yildirim briefly flashed pocket kings before heading out of the tournament area.

The same table then also lost Denis Vladimirov as the field was reduced to 47 contenders with 39 of them making the money.

He checked his cards once more and then folded the K♦Q♦ face-up. Boyaciyan returned the favour and flashed the A♥8♠.
