Luske Among Recent Casualties

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Marcel Luske
Marcel Luske

The speed of eliminations after the dinner break has caught up as several notables hit the rail such as Marcel Luske, Netanel Amedi and Lukas Svoboda.

Ondrej Goetz also ran out of chips when Maxim Khruslov rivered a wheel with the {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to oust the Czech, who quickly headed over to Michal Schuh to spread the bad news before heading out of the tournament area.

Schuh Folds to Klostermeier

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Michal Schuh and Pasquale Braco were among those to join the action not long ago and both can be found at the same table.

Schuh just bet the pot on the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} turn and found one caller in Maximilian Klostermeier. The {4-Diamonds} river was checked by Schuh and Klostermeier's bet of 18,000 won the pot uncontested.

Pot or No Pot?

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Irena Macesovic raised and Mauro Gustamacchia tossed in a chip behind. Macesovic then wanted to repot, claiming her opponent had repotted. Gustamacchia called for the floor and with the explanation of other players at the table, it was ruled as just a call.

Macesovic then min-bet the {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and Gustamacchia called. "What are you doing to me?" Macesovic joked and they checked the {5-Spades} turn, Macesovic then check-folded the {8-Hearts} river to a bet of 5,000.

In the meanwhile, Warm Up winner Richard Toth has re-entered and sat down next to Macesovic.
Having been involved in most hands at the table, Macesovic can be heard in the entire tournament area and the latest hand brought several looks from players at nearby tables to see what was happening.

Azor Loses One; Wins Next

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Ran Azor check-called a bet of 3,000 by Mark Berente on the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Spades} turn and led the {q-Hearts} river for 6,000. Berente called and Azor tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{x-} for top set, but Berente had that beat with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush.

One hand later, Berente raised to 3,000 and picked up four callers including Alexander Norden, Azor, Maksim Shuts and Ilyaz Dosikov. The {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop brought no betting action and Azor bet the {6-Diamonds} turn for 11,000. All opponents folded and Azor flashed {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a straight and a flushdraw.

Levchenko Doubles Through Macesovic

Level 6 : 400/800, 0 ante
Irena Macesovic
Irena Macesovic

Irena Macesovic three-bet the pot out of turn and called the shove of Ivan Levchenko for 40,500 to set up the following showdown.

Ivan Levchenko: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Irena Macesovic: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop gave Macesovic an open-ender, but the {6-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river both bricked off.
