Robin Chesne Eliminated in 24th Place ($14,120)

Robin Chesne--24th Place
Robin Chesne--24th Place
Our chipleader coming into Day 2, Robin Chesne was eliminated just after we made the money. He was all-in preflop holding {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} to Pat Van Dijk's {K-Diamonds} {8-Hearts}. The board ran out {3-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} and the four diamonds on the board gave Van Dijk the higher flush and ended Chesne's run.

Jose Nadal Eliminated in 26th Place; Hector Luis Aceval Eliminated in 25th Place ($14,120)

Julian De Berti eliminated two players in one fell swoop with a brutal card on the river. All the money went in before the flop and here's what the players turned over:

Julian De Berti: {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts}
Hector Luis Aceval: {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades}
Jose Nadal: {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} gave Aceval a set and De Berti a straight draw. The {K-Spades} fell on the turn and that gave Nadal two pair and a chance at a higher full house. But on the river, De Berti spiked the {9-Hearts} to give him a straight and send Nadal out in 26th place and Aceval out in 25th.

Eduardo Oscar Camia Is Eliminated on the Bubble

Out on the Bubble
Out on the Bubble
After losing an earlier confrontation with Daniel Alfredo Bizoza, Eduardo Oscar Camia saw his tournament end one spot from the money by the same man. All the money went in on the flop with Camia holding {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} to Bizoza's {9-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {7-Spades} on the flop put Bizoza in the lead and when the board ran out {2-Clubs} {8-Clubs}, Bizoza won the pot and Camia won the unfortunate title of bubble boy.

Walter Oaquim Eliminated; now Playing Hand-for-Hand

Walter Oaquim
Walter Oaquim
With an enthusiastic band of Brazilians shouting encouragement from the rail, Walter Oaquim wasn't able to make his pocket nines hold up against his opponent's {J-Spades} {10-Spades}. The {4-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {6-Spades} gave his opponent the higher pair and when the board ran out {Q-Hearts} {6-Hearts} Oaquim was knocked out.

And with that, we're down to twenty-eight players and the floor is explaining that we'll now be playing hand-for-hand.
