He's nursing a short stack but should, bar a cooler, make the cash.
Getting your aces cracked so close to the money is always brutal but that still didn't stop Erick Cabrera from getting it all-in. Jose Barbero had three-bet a 20,000 open-raise to 50,000 and Cabrera called all-in for 46,000.
Cabrera:

Barbero:

The board flopped a gushot for Barbero but Cabrera survived the sweat to jump up to 120,000.
We have our 51st place finisher who darted from the room after getting eliminated as he probably wasn't too happy with his play. Ismael Cádiz raised from late position and Felipe Borges called from the BB to see a

flop. He then employed the old stop'n'go tactic by pushing all-in. It wasn't the best time to do it though as called by Cádiz with
. Borges tabled
and was off after the turn came
and river
.
David Figueroa is not afraid of a shove. He's got his chips in more often than a low-limit short stacker but he's still in and deserves to cash more than most.
Marcelo Bonanata didn't seem to care too much about the bubble when he moved all-in for 65,000 over a Lisandro Gallo's 22,000 under the gun raise. Maybe he knew that it was a good spot to double up with his
as Gallo had already proved that he loved to call three- and four-bet shoves with king-queen. Gallo duly obliged with
and it almost paid off with a

flop. A
on the turn changed nothing but a
on the river certainly did.
We've backing and playing into the all important bubble. We've had a couple of early fallers and there's just 51 players left.

Players are now on a 60 minute dinner break. Chip leader going into break is Jose "Nacho" Barbero on around 470,000.
He is so don't worry, Mrs O'Brien. The money's near (payouts begin at 48) and your son is looking fairly good to get there. We'll make sure to keep the Australian contingent appraised of his progress.
