A Pair of Doubles

Daniel Ades was blinding away and down to his last 122,000 before he opted to make a stand. Action folded to him in the small blind and he moved all-in. Gustavo Flessak made the call and they were off to the races:

Flessak: {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Ades: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Ades has been playing slow and tight as of late, much like the tortoise against the hare, and it paid off in this race. The board ran out {2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Ades doubled to 254,000.

Meanwhile, William Ross moved all-in preflop from the cutoff over at the other table and received a from call from Matthias Habernig in the big blind. Ross was behind with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against the {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} of Habernig. That all changed as the board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Ross doubled to nearly 350,000 while Habernig was left with 250,000.
