Emerson Baroni got a huge lift earlier by flopping a set of aces against a set of tens and getting his opponent's whole stack of 45,000. He's chip leading the tournament again after another great flop. We caught up with the action by the turn, , where Baroni and his opponent each put 17,500 into the pot. The river came another king, , causing Baroni's out-of-position opponent to check. Baroni made a small bet of 15,000, which his opponent disgustedly called. Baroni turned up for a full house, queens full of kings. His opponent shook his head and mucked.
Baroni now has 147,000. Another player at his table, Jimmy Castano, has 119,000. The average stack isn't even 40,000 yet.
Christian Kruel is no longer in the tournament. His ran into an opponent's and he was eliminated after failing to come from behind.
After a player raised from middle position, Alexandre Gomes reraised from the cutoff seat to 4,400. The original raise size was unknown, but the player did make the call to come along to the flop.
The flop came down paired with cowboys, . Both players checked and a small duck appeared on the turn in the . After the first player took a minute, he checked. Gomes bet 5,300 and his opponent tossed his hand away. Gomes won the pot and moved to 27,000 in chips.
On the flop of , one player checked to Team PokerStars Pro Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck. She fired a bet of 2,000 and her opponent folded. Last time we saw Maridu win a pot without a showdown she showed a card to her opponent. She did the same again here, showing that to her opponent after he had mucked.
Maridu is back up to 40,000 again.

Alex Brenes was all in for about 15,000 with the and dominated by an opponent's . Fortunately for Brenes, the board ran out to keep him alive with a chopped pot.
Bruno De Oliveira Severino raised to 1,400 from the cutoff seat and the small blind called. Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen also called from the big blind, although short stacked with only 10,000 behind. The three players saw the flop come down and all checked to see the pair the board on the turn. Action checked over to the preflop aggressor Severino. He bet 2,600 and both his opponents folded. Severino increased to 46,000 in chips.
On one of the first hands back from break, we watched a player at David Etter's table take a non-standard line by moving all in for 30,000 after one player limped in for 600 and another raised to 2,500. Nobody called, although the initial raiser open-folded two queens. His antagonist showed .
It is perhaps no surprise that the player who took the non-standard line of shoving for 50 big blinds over a raise to 4 big blinds was eliminated from the tournament a short time later. His chips now belong to David Etter, who is sitting behind roughly 125,000.
A five-high flop, , proved impossible for Leo Fernandez to get away from. After his lone opponent checked, Fernandez led out for 2,600. His opponent check-raised to 10,000, enough to put Fernandez all in. Fernandez called with and saw that he had run into pocket queens, . That was no problem for the Team Pro, however; he binked the right on the turn to improve to a full house. The river blanked out, allowing Fernandez to double up to 21,000.
