Trouble for Ospina
Level 13
: 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
We didn't catch the hand, but it looks like former chip leader Daniel Ospina has taken a hit at the hand of Hugo Kahan. Kahan's stack is up to 269,000, while Ospina's has dipped to about 257,000. That makes Joao Neto's 375,000 the new tournament-leading stack.
On the family front, father-son team Humberto and Roberto Brenes both remain in the tournament with about 80,000 chips each. Family Lerner also remains strong. Brother Aaron is trying to grind up his sort stack, while brother Derek contends with a rampaging Joao Neto at his table. Derek has slipped to 205,000 after conceding a small pot to Neto at the river, warning him first to "keep trying" and leaving unspoken the retribution he seeks to exact.
