Guertler Leaves Gailius with Pennies; Masendore Finishes Him Off

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

With just over 40,000 on a completed board showing the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Florian Guertler, with 32,000 behind, checked. Modestas Gailius jammed for 34,500 on the button and Guertler found the call.

Gailus tabled his {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair, sevens and sixes. Guertler tabled the winner with his {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for tens and fours.

Gailus was then eliminated in the following hand. Maureen Blochlinger opened to 800 from early position and was called by Jonatan Kula on her immediate left.

Gailius moved all-in for 2,500 before Andrea Masendore raised to 10,000 from the small blind. Blochlinger and Kula got out of the way to set up an all-in showdown.

Modestas Gailius: {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Andrea Masendore: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Gailius paired up on the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop but found no more help after the {8-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river.

Marcenac Caught Speeding

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Joseph Grech opened to 700 from the hijack and was called by Matthieu Marcenac from the cutoff and Uludag Bora from the big blind.

Action checked to Marcenac on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and he bet 1,000. Only Grech called. The {2-Diamonds} turn checked through to the {j-Diamonds} river and Grech bet 1,000. Marcenac made it 4,000 and Grech called after a few moments.

"Queen-high," Marcenac said. Grech tabled his {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to claim the pot.

Mohamed and Ash Tango

Level 2 : 100/100, 200 ante

With the board showing the the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and 11,000 already in the pot, David Ash checked from the cutoff to Ahamed Mohamed on the button. Mohamed bet 11,000 and sent his opponent into the tank.

Ash eventually folded and soon after Mohamed said to Ash he could turn over just one of his cards. Ash agreed and exposed the {5-Spades} which was enjoyed by everyone else at the table.
