Dvoress Runs Bad

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

The top pair of Daniel Dvoress was rivered by Herman Hansen and then Pieter de Korver doubled up through the Canadian as well with {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} versus {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Within one level, Dvoress has lost more than half of his stack and now remains at 30 big blinds in level 15.

Helppi Uses New Chips

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Chin Sin Chang shoved for 32,000 with {A-}{10-} from under the gun and Juha Helppi moved all in for three times of that with pocket tens. Jochum Weenink called the shove with the superior stack and {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} but failed to improve and was left short. The remainder of the stack went over to Wim Emo and Helppi took advantage of the new chips almost immediately as well.

Makarios Avramidis opened to 6,500 and Anton Wigg called but both folded to the squeeze of the Finn for 20,000.

Milne Senior Departs

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Richard Milne Junior finished third in the €770 8-max tournament and Richard Milne Senior was just eliminated in the Main Event. He four-bet shoved for 55,000 with the {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} from early position only to see Georgios Zisimopoulos snap him off out of the small blind with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades} and that was it for Milne.

Three Updated Counts

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Hakim Zoufri raised to 6,000 and was called by Andrew Leathem and Per Munksgaard. The Dane was in the blinds and the trio checked down the board {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Munksgaard mucked and Zoufri showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, which Leathem could not beat either.

The very same table also features defending champion Ruben Visser, who is looking to become the first player to win the Main Event twice.

Avramidis Rising Further

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Anton Wigg fired 14,500 out of the small blind on the flop {7-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs} against initial raiser Makarios Avramidis and the chip leader from Greece folded. Avramidis then attacked the next hand with a raise to 6,500 and Chris Dowling called in the big blind. On the flop {5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, a simple continuation bet by the Greek won the pot.

Wigg fired two barrels onto the big blind of Wim Emo with the latter giving up to the second barrel on the {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Clubs} turn.

Below are some updated chip counts of the table in question.

Kramer Killing It

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Steve O'Dwyer and [Removed:172] have both extended their stacks fairly significantly while Wouter Beltz lost more than half of his stack. Kramer is sitting next to Ole Schemion, one of the remaining former MCOP champions in today's field, and "wizowizo" is also doing not too bad.

Verhagen Doubles Through Boyaciyan

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

It was a flip for almost 30 big blinds that saw Johan Verhagen at risk with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. David Boyaciyan looked him up with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} but the board ran out in favor of his opponent with {7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{A-Spades}.

Vos vs Aanquich

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Hrazem Aanquich limped in and then called a raise to 7,800 by Pascal Vos to see a flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Vos continued for 8,200 and was called before both players controlled the pot and checked down the {8-Clubs} turn and {J-Hearts} river. Aanquich's {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} ended up second best to the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} of Vos.

Zisimopoulos Bad Beats Schweinsbergen

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On the heads-up flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Mick Schweinsbergen check-raised all in for 84,900 and Georgios Zisimopoulos eventually called after having put in a bet worth 15,700 on the button.

Schweinsbergen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for top set
Zisimopoulos: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a pair of jacks

The {J-Spades} immediately showed up on the turn and the {10-Clubs} river bricked to send Schweinsbergen to the rail in a big pot.
