Adams Busts Two

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Jasper Meijer raised and then called the shove of Timothy Adams to put himself at risk with ace-queen. Adams had ace-king and the better kicker held up.

Soon after, one of the players that late-registered today jammed for around 30,000 and Adams called from one seat over on the button with {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The opponent only had {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and failed to improve with the board running out {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Finger Busts One

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Hakim Zoufri opened to 5,300 and one opponent three-bet to 12,000 before the action fell on Martin Finger. The start-of-the-day chip leader four-bet to 26,000 and called the shove of the three-bettor with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Zoufri had folded and the third player in the hand showed pocket jacks in the showdown to hit the rail.

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Heize Done for the Day

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Mick Schweinsbergen raised from late position and called the three-bet of Olvedo Heinze for 13,500 to see the flop come {6-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Heinze got the rest of it in with {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} and was called by Schweinsbergen with [Ks,Js|. The {2-Diamonds} turn and {3-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever and that was it for Heinze.

Gieles Busts a Short Stack

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A short stack moved all in for his last 8,500 and Luuk Gieles as well as the player in the big blind called. They checked down the board {8-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the all in player and the player in the small blind showed hack-high. Gieles took it down with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and boosted his stack further.

Some players that have not been spotted in the event anymore include Elliot Smith, Floris van der Ven and Thomas Muehloecker.

No More Big Stack

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Kees van Brugge raised to 5,000 and Hakim Zoufri moved all in for only 42,000 from two seats over. The latter was a big stack early on and then the chips quickly found new owners. Van Brugge gave it some consideration but elected to fold.

Kuan and Williams Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The seat of Nico Kuan is empty and Frank Williams also just walked by. He three-bet shoved out of the big blind for 12 big blinds with the {A-}{9-} and the initial raiser called with {A-}{7-}. The cruel run out {K-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} gave the opponent a straight and Williams had a bad beat story to tell.
