Day 1b Ends with 49 Players Through to Day 2 with King in the Lead at the Master Classics of Poker

After nine quick levels of twenty minutes, Day 1b of the €4,300 Main Event has come to an end here at the Master Classics of Poker in Holland Casino Amsterdam. The turbo edition of the starting flight attracted 72 entries to bring the total number of entries up to 330 with the Day 1a entries. Out of all those entries, 101 made it through Day 1a and another 49 players bagged up on Day 1b. But as registration is still open until the start of Day 2 at 7 p.m. local time, this number can only grow.
The Day 1b chip lead goes to Ireland’s James King with 164,000 in chips. He is followed by Mustafa Biz, Jonathan Abdellatif, Jussi Mattila, and Thierry van den Berg.

Not everyone managed to find a bag today, players like Vojtech Ruzicka, Niklas Astedt, Antoine Vranken, David Boyaciyan, Henri Buhler, and Kees van Brugge for example all fired a bullet or two today and missed. But they can still reenter until Day 2 resumes in a few hours.
When Day 2 resumes at 7 p.m., they will continue with Level 10 which features a small blind of 600, big blind of 1,200, and a big blind ante of 1,200. The seat draw for Day 2 will be posted if and when it had been received from the organization. Biz Busts a Player
Mustafa Biz raised to 2,100 from the middle position and was called by the player in the late position. The player in the cutoff shoved for 13,700 and action folded back to Biz. Biz decided to four-bet and the player in the late position quickly got out of their way.

Tarmi Triples Up
Thierry van den Berg raised from under the gun and Vojtech Ruzicka three-bet in the middle position. Roope Tarmi four-bet shoved for 10,300 from the button. The blinds folded and the chips of Van den Berg en Ruzicka also all went in.
