The final 49 players will return for Day 2 of the$500 PokerNews Cup at the Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party in North Cyprus at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Casino.
They will battle for the$250,000 prizepool where all 49 players are already guaranteed a share of it as players played down to the money on each of the three flights. Action will continue from where play ended on the previous flights with 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante.
Sakis Adrianopoulos leads the pack having bagged 500,000 in the turbo flight of Day 1c. He will be closely followed by the Day 1b chip leader Elena Yasyuchenya (485,000) as they will look towards the grand first place prize and trophy.
