Domin and Khamatgareev Taking Pots

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Joining the action with a heap of blue chips in the middle that equated around 50,000, Rudolf Domin was betting 25,000 on the {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} board from the hijack. His early position opponent mucked their holding.

In the next hand, the same two players were involved. After the under-the-gun open to his right of 1,200, Domin called next to act. Then action folded around to Ravil Khamatgareev in the cutoff and he decided on a raise to 4,500. The button then cold called and with action back on the early position players, they both folded.

To a flop of {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Khamatgareev made it 5,000 which got a quick fold from the button player.

Erkmen Doubles Through Zubov

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With 37,000 in the middle at the turn with the board of {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}, Ufuk Erkmen bet 7,500 and was called in the small blind by Alexander Zubov.

The {5-Spades} landed on the river to make a fourth spade on an already paired board. Zubov grabbed a handful of blue 5,000 chips which covered Erkmen's stack. The Turk took two minutes before making the call for 15,700.

Ufuk Erkmen: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Alexander Zubov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Zubov turned their pocket kings into a bluff, but it wasn't enough to shake Erkmen off the third highest flush available. Erkmen gets a double and Zubov is around starting stack.

Bindel Takes Peffly to Value Town

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Alex Peffly
Alex Peffly

With action heads-up on the river, there was at least 18,000 in the middle on a board of {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Alex Peffly checked from early position against the hijack of Luc Bindel.

Bindel paused, then counted out 16,200 chips and placed them into the pot. Within about 8 seconds Peffly, who sports his patented retro Kangol viser had made the call. The French player out of Cyprus flipped over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Peffly let out an agitated ''Urgh'' as he mucked his hand, awarding a large pot to Bindel.

Jeff Cormier

With 24,000 in the middle on a completed board of {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} the big blind bet 20,000.

Jeff Cormier in the cutoff thought over their decision for a minute before sliding in the call. The big blind turned over {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for tens and fours with a king kicker. Cormier tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a better two pair.

"You almost had me convinced you had it!" said the Canadian to his opponent as he moved towards a six-figure stack
