It was all over by the time the K♥ landed on the turn as Hartman made top set, leaving Amani with no hope. An inconsequential 4♦ hit the river, and Amani was sent home empty-handed.

On the river Chehadeh had his remaining 465,000 in the middle and at risk. Dray then flipped 9♦6♦ for a busted straight draw, and Chehadeh's 2♣2♥ was good for a full house.

Chen had Sharapov dominated with the better kicker. He managed to stay ahead on the J♦J♣5♥3♦4♣ runout as neither player improved. Chen doubled up, and Sharapov was left with just a few big blinds.

There were around 450,000 chips in the middle on a flop of 7♣Q♠6♠ when the big blind checked and Mehmet Demirkol also tapped the table from under the gun. Aliaksandr Hirs was next to act and he fired out 155,000. which was enough to earn him the pot was everybody else folded.

While this year’s Main Event drew slightly fewer entries than last year, the payout at the top remains just as impressive. A total of 1,196 players entered the 2025 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event, and once again, $1,000,000 is waiting for the eventual champion.

In 2024, Azamat Lamkov bested a 1,260-player field to earn the same amount, and now a new name will be etched into the winner’s list with an identical seven-figure score on the line.

The top 175 finishers will make the money, with a min-cash of $8,500 guaranteed. Despite a slight dip in attendance, the prize pool proves this Main Event remains one of the most lucrative in the region.
